Good point, Myopia Boy. But is this a Universal Truth or does it simply reflect the current state of things? Perhaps a better understanding of this baffling loyalty would include the examination of such phenomena as tradition, the collective conscience, and the corporate brands' exploitation thereof.
And, er, sorry about the Myopia Boy thing. I've been pretty caustic in my comments on people's blogs lately. I'm sure it's just a phase I'm going through.
